How Much Do I Want to Spend?

There are UTV price points to suit a wide range of budgets. A basic new model will cost around $10,000 while a more advanced new model will cost around $20,000. If those prices are a bit out of your range, consider getting a used UTV. These models will be sold at a fraction of their original price point.

By determining the maximum amount that you want to spend, you will be able to narrow your search to a much smaller range of options.

How Many People Does the UTV Need to Fit?

A side-by-side will usually accommodate between two and six passengers. UTVs with a higher seating capacity will cost more and be larger, but then you will be able to bring more folks in on the fun! Think about the maximum size of your group and pick the seating capacity accordingly.

What Will the UTV Need to Do?

Finally, think about the way (or ways) that you will be using the UTV. This will influence the features you will want to prioritize.

If you want to go hunting, get a side-by-side with a camouflaged paint job. If you want to use it on landscaping jobs, make sure it has a high enough storage capacity to fit your tools and materials.
